A Daily Dose Is Leaving….Peace Out

Moving To Florida that is. Yes, folks, come mid-August, yours truly here will be posting permanently from the Sunshine State.  Now those of you who have been following me on twitter, facebook, or here know that this is what I have wanted well pretty much since I moved to Arkansas.  However wanting and being able to are two totally different things.

My family and friends are all in Florida and that’s home to me and my husband loves it so he has been on board since we were dating to move there when the time was right. Well, the time is right and we are going.

I can’t wait to live back near the beach and close to family in Alabama and of course the local Florida family that I only get to see them once a year (sometimes less). We have seen what looks like the perfect house for us at a perfect price, now we just pray on it.  If it’s what God wants for us everything will work out for us to get it but if God has something else then that’s okay too.

The state I was raised in and lived until I was 21 is where my heart is. My kids are ecstatic that we will be living close to My-My and Poppi and we will be able to visit my grandparents in Alabama who we have only see 2 or 3 times since Bella was born. MMM, I can already taste the monthly trips of Italian cooking. Yay.

Now the only thing I dread about this is the packing!!! Packing and Me have a very rocky relationship, I don’t like him too much. However, the excitement of going home is actually making me dread it a little less. I still pout and drag my feet when I think about having to do it but I am slooooooowwwwllllyyy doing it. I got two boxes packed this morning.  Go Me! I, in the spirit of moving and making it a little easier, cleaned my garage for THREE hours yesterday got all the trash piled up in a box and yard sell stuff boxed for my upcoming sale. Amazing how inspired I got.

Now, what does this mean for my blog? Over the next few weeks, it will still be posted on and hopefully, I will have lots of fun stories to tell but I will be doing some reviews and giveaways that need to be posted before I move. Dang, this means I am gonna have to change my address everywhere again…that’s the killer part. Oh well, it’s a sacrifice I will make.  I will probably do a lot more vlogs because I know you all want to see me in my frazzled states so it can make you feel better about your life while I am stressing about my move LOL. So because I love you all so much I will do that, be warned some days could be nasty hair and sweat stains from packing but it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make.

Okay so I will totally try not to gross you out but I can’t be held responsible for the things I do and say as I pack and become a little more stressed every day that passes. I have got to call all my utilities, hubs student loans, creditors, hospitals (from Gabriel’s surgery) and change the address, that is the worst, who wants to do all that for me 🙂 So get ready to go along on my move journey, I may go crazy and you all will get to go right along with me but just think what a happy ending it will be when we all end up on the beach!

So let’s get to packing, who’s coming over to help???

The following two tabs change content below.

Toni, I’m so happy that everything has fallen into place and that you are able to move back! Um, but you’re on your own with the packing. LOL I hate packing too 😉

Can’t help you pack just tell you something you already know, Label Everything, right down to the thumb tacks. Can greet you when you get here back in “Gods country.” I live in South Alabama. Seriously, I am glad for you that you can live ‘wherever you want to live’. Thank God and our American Soldiers for our freedoms! I’ll pray that you survive the packing, you will need it!

Live too far away to be able to help you pack, but sending packing energy vibes in a magical frequency that will reach you and your family.
I’m so glad you get to go back to Florida.
I’ll start praying that you have traveling Grace, Blessing, Favor, and Safety for your move in August.

Congrats! Sounds like a wonderful blessing. I’ve lived in Chicago all my life. It’ll be so strange for me to move. It’s wonderful that you all never gave up on the idea.
